About the Role:
Join Class 101 in South Miami, FL, as an ACT/SAT Math, English, and Writing Teacher! We are seeking passionate educators to inspire and empower high school students to achieve their academic goals in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Math, English, and Writing tailored for ACT/SAT preparation.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create customized lesson plans that address individual student needs and learning styles.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic success.
- Provide guidance on test-taking strategies and college readiness.
- Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field.- Not required but encouraged
- Experience teaching high school students, preferably in test preparation.
- Strong understanding of ACT/SAT formats and content areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching tools.
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Teaching certification is a plus but not required.
Compensation: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
